Our little nephew, Dallas, is definitely a cutie pie. And he LOVES Reid. Enjoy this dance (or bobbing) video with vocalist, Diane.
Here’s a nice video of the family chill’n at Grandma and Papa Hoggatt’s pool. Reid is getting better at swimming and didn’t need his “super” goggles to do it. Mason is learning how to surf – on a boogie board in a still pool (eh, baby steps 🙂 ).
The boys and I graduated to the orange belt (3rd). Reid was awarded a medal for his focus and consistency. The judges also said they were very impressed for a boy his age to execute his forms so well. Mason did a great job as well! And I, well, I did ok too :).
And the final swim of the season at the City Meet. This is not a chance all the swimmers get. Mason’s scores over the whole season were good enough to compete in this final meet – pretty impressive.
Mason did a great job in his first swim team season with the Starfish. As you’ll see in this video, Mason gets the “Best Attitude” award. He often entertained his coaches by doing a little song and dance. We are so blessed to have such a happy and active son.
It can be tough waiting to be the 4th swimmer in a relay, but Mason still swam hard and had a great time.
Mason joined a local swim team for the first time this summer and LOVED it! He learned all of the strokes and did really well. He qualified for the city-wide meet, which is a huge honor. In the city meet, he was asked to swim freestyle, butterfly, and two relays. We are so proud of him and loved watching him swim. Enjoy these short snapshots from the beginning of the season.
We asked the boys if they wanted to try drama classes. Mason said no, but Reid is ready to roll. Enjoy this VBS performance.
We had a great time at Tweetsie Railroad park with a good friends Ken, Peggy, and Corey. Reid was a bit hesitant getting on this ride, but after one ride he was addicted. We must have ridden that one ride at least a dozen times. And yes that loud, crazy laughter is Reid :).
Reid could not wait to drive a car all on his own (minus pressing down the gas pedal). Enjoy this bumpy ride with us.
