Happy 3rd Birthday Mason!!!

It is hard to believe that Mason is now 3 years old. To celebrate yesterday we had a cake but the real party will come this weekend when we have lunch at Rainforest Cafe with all of Mason’s friends. He is very excited!
Mason is talking like crazy now in full sentences. He is still [...]

Potty Training time and other updates

We have officially begun potty training Mason. For Christmas he received some cool big boy underwear-his favorite is Buzz Lightyear and Lightening McQueen. Just last night we had our first success-he went both #1 and #2 in the big boy potty. He was most excited about the chocolate he got afterwards.
Mason is [...]

Sitting Up

Reid is our strong-backed little baby. He loves sitting up more now that he has the hang of it. But of course, they have to start out falling on their back as much as sitting up. Here’s a fun little clip.

The Jumping Kid II

There’s only one point in a child’s life that they can truly enjoy the thrill of the johnny jump-up. We captured Mason’s little happy bouncy dance, in The Jumping Kid, at this point as well.

The Next Rock Star!

Mason adds to his toolbox of talents with this new idea. Yes, that is the nose sucker you get from the hospital when your kid is born. Mason took this, then took my tri-pod, and voila a bonafide rock n’ roll microphone. The ending is really cute too.

Roll’in Reid

Here is one of the favorite beginning milestones for a baby – the roll over. Now, as Diane pointed out, Reid can roll from his stomach to back one way, while Mason could only go from his back to his stomach one way. Blond, Brown, back, stomach… they seem to be total opposites except for [...]

Solid Food Adventure II

Here we have Reid’s first solid-er feeding. Yep he’s growing fast. We started at the same time we started with Mason (see Solid Food Adventure). I guess 5 1/2 months is the typical breaking point parents hit when they figure a full tummy will get them and their baby more consistent sleep. But heck, wouldn’t [...]

Reid and the Half Roll

Well, we just can’t pass up the cute video when it presents itself. Reid is just such a happy baby. He especially likes being naked. He is just the opposite of Mason. Mason can’t stand being cold, and he let us know that very early on. Reid on the other hand will laugh and talk [...]

Mr. Talker

Reid is also very responsive to mommy and daddy. However, his responsiveness usually takes place at 4:30am. Yeah, that is when we’re up, but that’s not the point. He needs to sleep longer. Anyway, here is another cute video of our little brown-eyed boy.
