I am officially 37 weeks pregnant. These are unchartered waters since Mason was born at 36 weeks. So, even though I actually have 3 weeks left until my due date I already feel overdue! We are hanging in there-everything is ready for Reid and we are still working on Mason’s car in his room. The detail work is coming along slowly but surely. 
I really want to have a May baby….but the days are running out for that to happen. I guess we’ll see. Mason was a 7 lb baby at 36 weeks. If Reid hangs out too much longer I’m afraid how much he is going to weigh!

We had a very nice weekend with lots of sunshine and warm weather. Mason was able to get out and enjoy the days with his BFF Amy-Lynn. Here are some pics of the two of them swimming.
This was Saturday swimming. Mason was soo cold in just the shorts so we ended up putting a sweatshirt and sweatpants on him because he didn’t want to get out of the water!
And here is a picture of what kept happening in this outfit….he’s got a pretty cute little tushy!
This was Sunday swimming. We were better prepared for swimming and Mason stayed warmer in this outfit. He was still shivering by the end of it though.
Cute Mason story: Saturday and Sunday mornings are the only times where we get to “sleep in.” I put it in quotes because 6 am is sleeping in for us. Mason usually wakes up around 6 and will sometimes play in his crib for awhile before wanting out. He knows that when he wants to get up he just has to call out “Momma” and “Dadda” and that is our cue to come get him. This is really nice because he doesn’t usually cry unless we take too long to get there….not sure how the routine started, but it works for us! This past Sunday though he did something a little different. Sometimes if Matt is trying to get Mason’s attention and he isn’t listening too well, Matt will whistle and call for Mason and that usually will get his attention (I can’t whistle so this doesn’t work for me.) Well, Sunday morning Mason pretended to whistle and called out “Dadda.” It was the cutest thing and Matt and I both laughed-he is picking up so much so quickly and it is so much fun to watch him grow and learn.

This isn’t the finished product but here is what we have so far:
The other walls are painted this color green. We will also be filling in the area around the car in this green.
Mason and Matt are both hard at work drawing out all of the details of the Indy car.
And now that the drawing is done, they get to work painting!
Mason’s Indy Car wall!! There are still lots of details to add to the car-numbers, names, etc. but the main part of it is done. Matt is a great artist, don’t you think?
On a different note-I am currently 34 weeks pregnant. We are basically ready for Reid to arrive, which is a good thing since I had Mason at the 36 week mark in my pregnancy. I can’t believe he could be here in two weeks!!
