Here are some additional pictures, as promised. Reid’s room is done…now all we need is a baby. You’ll notice there isn’t a crib in the room-Mason is still using the crib and Reid will live for the first 6 months in our room with a cosleeper so we are not rushing Mason out of his crib. My mom was a huge help in getting this done last night…it only took us until 12:30 am.

We went with mini cupcakes this year in the hopes that Mason would dig in. (If you remember, he was not a fan of his big cake for bday #1-it was too messy!) But no, Mason still did not like touching the cupcake and getting messy. I think he had two bites, and then only if I held it for him. Not normal!

We just started on Reid’s room last night. Here is the beginning stage….we are hoping to finish it tonight. I’ll post pics again when it is done. It is going to be sports themed. We have a cute wall border that will go in between the two colored wall.

After Reid’s room is done we are going to do Mason’s room…as of right now it is still just white walls. We’re going with a race car themed room (gotta stay true to our Indiana roots.) Matt is wanting to paint a picture that takes up one whole wall of Mason’s room. For all those who know Matt and his artistic skills, the mural will be amazing, but it may take awhile…hence the starting with Reid’s room which is much simpler.

Yesterday marked a very important milestone in our little guy’s life-he turned two! My mom was able to make it out for his bday and we had a great day just hanging out and enjoying our little guy.

Mason is talking like crazy-it seems like he picks up new words almost daily. He has also started making the funniest faces and copying everything you do. There have been a couple of moments where I wish I would have had my camera for some of his faces-they are too funny! He got a big boy bike for his bday that is still a little too big for him, but he is pretty excited just to sit on it. I will post some pictures here soon and there will be a video posted eventually from his big day.
