The baby
September 26th, 2006Here is the clearest shot of our baby to date. We will be getting another ultrasound by mid October. Then, we’ll really get to see it. Notice the little face and hands. It almost looks like it’s sucking its thumb.

A note from Valley Medical Center:
Your Baby’s Development
- By the middle of the second trimester, the fetus is about 8 inches long and weighs half a pound.
- The fetus’s bones are hard and the joints flexible.
- Now the mother can feel the kicks and rolls of the fetus. Even hiccups can be felt on occasion.
- Eyelashes begin to appear.

Matt and Diane,
I had a feeling we’d be seeing an interactive site from you, and this is a great way to share these special moments with those you love.
I love you both very much, and can’t wait to hold your sweet little baby.
Much love,
Mom

Diane!!
The ultrasound of your baby is so beautiful!! I really want to see what you look like pregnant, haha. I’m sure your belly must be getting big!
Take care of yourself! I miss you!

So…I have just looked at Amanda Nicholas’ pictures of her and david’s baby, and it just now sank into me, that in a few months I will be seeing pictures of you holding a baby that is actually yours! How absolutely incredible and wonderful is that? The baby is going to be so beautiful…
